May 19, 2009 - Onondaga Lake (6PM to 9PM) The G.O.B. Juniors and the G.O.B. senior club boaters arrived at the Liverpool launch site early so the decision was made to launch at 5:40PM and return at 8:30PM, so that everyone could return safely under available light. The Junior-Pro's struggled mightily as Dustin Robinson, Coty Atkinson and Trevor Parker failed to locate any legal bass. Therefore, under our G.O.B. club rules they were each appointed 20 points for their efforts. After 4 tournaments, Trevor Parker leads the Junior-Pro division with a total of 89 points.
The Junior's however were lead by Raymond Bentz and Bill Easterly, each with one legal bass, as they both paper-measured their catches to lead their group. Raymond received 25 points, Bill received 24 points while Nick Baxter, Guy Crump, Jr., Matt Mitchell and Jake Drabot each received 23 points respectively for their efforts. After 4 tournaments, Raymond Bentz leads the Junior division with 95 points. The Minnow's (shore fishing) were lead once again by Danny Mitchell as he managed to bring home a total of 7 sunnies. Following close behind was Devon Robinson with 3 sunnies and 1 yellow perch. Danny received 25 points while Devon garnered 24 points. After 4 tournaments, Danny Mitchell leads the Minnow division with 70 points. The next Club Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, June 6th, here at Onondaga Lake from 7AM until 12noon. |
