Junior Meeting

Tournament director, Ryan Friscia reported:

There were no results taken from last tournament due to poor fishing results. Oct. 6th 7am-11pm is the last tournament for the Junior/Jr. pro.

 

nows will have 3 separate and distinct "Minnow" tournaments with 5 rotating Jr./Jr.pros to assist on selected ponds. Connell will be asked to send out an email to all Jr/Jr pros to sign up to help the minnows.

 Jeff Edgarton, Youth Director, decided the can drive will continue and to keep bringing in your can money. Dustin Robinson reported Mitchell Jones has collected $20.00 and Ryan Friscia collected $30.55 and R. Bentz $6.00 more with the can drive money.

 

Dick Hyde reported on the latest information from Bass Pro regarding the fishing shirts. 2 to 3 contacts are being lined up and looking for vendors/sponsors to help defray the cost per shirt and keep it to the expected $40.00 per shirt. Dick also reminded us that we should be also looking for sponsors and promoting our club. 

Dick also presented the "Need to get back to the BASICS" in fishing. And remember to do your "homework", take notes and keep a journal.

 

 Our next meeting, October 30th: our special guest will be Dave Ottman from Gander Mountain on Crank Bait and/or Drop Shot.
