2008 Scheduled Tournaments and Applications

2008 GOB Jr. CLUB TOURNAMENTS:

Tuesday night, May 27, 2008     Oneida Lake     6PM until 9PM

Tuesday night, June 3, 2008    Oneida Lake    6PM until 9PM

Tuesday night, June 10, 2008    Onondaga Lake    6PM until 9PM

Tuesday night, July 15, 2008    Corky Winn's Pond    6PM until 9PM

These 4 tournaments are "points" tournaments which will determine the top six (6) Junior & Junior-Pro club members that will be representing the GOB Jr. Club in the CTC event on July 20, 2008 on Oneida Lake.  NOTE: We will take the best three tournaments out of these four tournaments to determine the top six anglers.

*** PLEASE NOTE:  These final two 2008 Shore-line Tournaments listed above will count towards qualifying you for your 2009 (CTC) Club Team Championship Event.

 

2008 NEW YORK STATE Jr. CLUB TOURNAMENTS:

The Junior World Championship Qualifier, will be held on Oneida Lake launching from Oneida Shores County Park on Saturday, July 5, 2008.

The Junior World Championship will pit the top 6 anglers of each division decided from the Saturday Qualifier.  They will compete on Onondaga Lake launching from the Onondaga Lake Park Marina on Lake Drive in Liverpool on Sunday, July 6, 2008.  The one winner from each age group at Onondaga Lake will compete at Lake Winnipesauke in New Hampshire on Saturday, September 20, 2008. The one winner from each age group at the Lake Winnipesauke finals will then be eligible for the Federation Nation Championship to be held on Milford Lake, near Junction City, Kansas on November 6-7-8, 2008.

The Junior B.A.S.S. Federation Club Team Event and the Canadian Divisional Qualifier will be held on Oneida Lake, launching from Oneida Shores County Park on Sunday, July 20, 2008.  This prestigious event will crown the best 6-man team in New York State.  At the same time, each CTC angler will use his/her final weight, along with any other interested junior or junior-pro, to compete for the 2009 Canadian Junior Divisional Qualifier.  The one winner in each of the two age groups will be eligible to compete in the June 2009 Canadian Divisional Championship.

Our NEW YORK STATE Junior BASS Federation "fund-raiser", the Junior / Partners Tournament will be held on Oneida Lake, launching from Brewerton Boatyard on Sunday, August 31, 2008.  This tournament is a "fun" tournament whereas the junior or junior-pro selects an adult angler and they compete as a TEAM against other similar selected teams.
